YESS works within the public school system to help turn around failing, disengaged freshman students who are on the precipice of dropping out of school. YESS-trained junior/senior peer mentors support these freshmen to attend, attach and achieve in high school by providing them academic and social-emotional support through prescribed curriculum and activities. As a result, 94% of YESS freshmen are on schedule to graduate or have graduated; 100% of YESS mentors go to college; and 50% of freshmen mentees become peer mentors themselves.

This fundraiser supports YESS to expand its reach to more students in Metro Denver.
